Our Simple Funeral Package has been designed for families who would like a dignified, attended funeral with clear, straightforward arrangements and professional support throughout.
This package can be used for either a cremation or burial, allowing family and friends to come together and say goodbye with care, dignity and reassurance.
The package price covers our funeral director’s services and the items listed below. Additional third-party costs, such as crematorium, burial, church or place of worship fees, are added only where required.
What Is Included
- Bringing your loved one into our care night or day
- An appointment with one of our Personal Funeral Advisors
- Completion of the relevant funeral paperwork
- Care of your loved one in our professional facilities
- Preparation and dressing your loved one in their own clothes
- The Morpeth Oak Coffin
- Viewing in our Private Chapel of Rest during office hours
- A Hearse to convey the coffin directly to the crematorium, cemetery or place of service
- Provision of a Funeral Director
- Four Coffin Bearers
- Our in-house funeral celebrant is included
Package Price

This is our funeral director’s charge for the Simple Funeral Package. Additional third-party costs are added only where required.
Additional Costs, If Required
Every funeral is different. Some costs are paid to third parties, such as crematoria, cemeteries, churches, ministers or celebrants. These are sometimes known as disbursements and are added depending on the type of funeral and service chosen.
Crematorium Fee
Added if the funeral is a cremation. Crematorium fees vary depending on the crematorium selected.
Burial Fee
Added if the funeral is a burial. This may include cemetery fees, grave purchase, grave reopening or gravedigging fees.
Church or Place of Worship Fees
Added if the funeral service is held in a church or place of worship. These fees are set by the church or venue and may include clergy, organist, verger, choir or other charges.
Different Celebrant, Minister or Church Service
Our in-house funeral celebrant is included within this package.
Families do have the option to choose a different celebrant, minister or church service, and we will be happy to provide costs for these.
